About the Author
Maria DiLorenzo is a writer from Brooklyn, New York. She received an MFA in Creative Writing from Hunter College in 2011. For several years, she worked as a contributing writer for The Crime Report in which she investigated stories with a focus on prison reform and criminal justice. Her writing has also appeared in various magazines and journals such as Cosmopolitan, Real Crime Magazine, Alaska Quarterly Review, Connotations Press, and others. Her work in true crime has been chronicled in podcasts and documentaries, including ABC’s 20/20. Her first book, Confessions of the Green River Killer, is forthcoming in July 2026 with Crooked Lane Books.
